The Power of Positivity

Your alarm didn’t ring in the morning and you overslept.  You didn’t have time for breakfast. You forgot your phone at home and when your motorcycle broke down on the way to the university, you couldn’t call help. You thought to yourself, “Oh, this day is just going to be awful.” And of course, your whole day was really bad.  You were late from your first class and missed your professor’s announcement about the final exam, and so on. You believed that your day is going to get worse and worse, and so it did. Scientists think if you do a lot of negative thinking, your brain will produce a lot of negative thoughts and this will affect your actions during the day and will lead to more negative happenings.

Watch this video on how positive and negative thinking can affect one’s performance.
