Not so long ago, a now-famous psychologist Carol Dweck ran a range of experiments on children (yes, I know, experimenting on children sounds bad, but don’t worry!). She simply observed the children and their behavior throughout school years, and she found out that there is a way to predict who will be successful in life by dividing people into two categories – people with fixed and people with growth mindsets. And don’t forget about the Marshmallow Experiment, which was so famous for predicting students’ success as well!
